Holwell were proud to host the Men's County Fours Quarter and Semi Finals on Sunday 29th of May.  Taking part were rinks from Blaby, Birstall, Kingscroft (2), Ibstock, North Kilworth, New Lount, and Shepshed.    The winning Rinks on the day were Birstall (R Cooper) and Kingscroft (J Dawson).   A Feast of good bowls was enjoyed by all who attended.  Umpires on the day were Ron Foster and Bob Penny.

President Sue Hall's Day 2022- oh what a day it was. The sun shone and the green played sooooooo well. It was a tad hot, but we survived. Sue's theme, the Jubilee and Commonwealth games, found us resplendent in red, white, and blue and feeling very patriotic. An afternoon street party based on an English Afternoon Tea was laid out in the club room and catered for by Sara Groom who did us proud. We will be eating cake for some time. Thank you to everyone who helped and attended and to Sue for the fun and laughter we all associate with her.

President Sue's Tour.  Norfolk 2022.  We played in Norwich Arts, Cromer Marram (sadly under threat) and Yarmouth.  We were friendly and came second in every game.  Lots of fun and laughter throughout and the weather was superb.  The Carlton Hotel looked after us well and the organisation of the tour undertaken by Arthur ran smoothly.

Simon took some photos out and about and Sec. Sue at the games all available on our Facebook page.
