A Sunday Friendly game was played for the first time at Attenborough Bowls Club (nr Beeston) on a very hot afternoon. The heavy green was never reaqlly mastered by our bowlers, with ABC winning the game by 92 shots to 77. The game comprised of 4 triples rinks and 1 pairs rink and we only won 2 rinks of the 5 played.The HSBC Top Rink award was won on the pairs rink by Claire Cregan and Fred Thorpe.
