The Mabel Lewis Trophy:

This Ladies Competition was played on Friday afternoon, 8th August. Disappointingly only 6 ladies competed - Viv James, Lara Higgins, Anne Spaulding, Sue Moore, Sue Lemon and Pat Francis. The players were split into 2 sections, and played each other in their section over 7 ends as 3 wood singles.
Section 1 scores: Anne v Viv 4-5; Viv v Sue M 12-1; Sue M v Anne 6-3;  Section winner Viv James
Section 2 scores: Pat v Lara 1-9; Sue L v Pat 4-6; Lara v Sue L 4-4;  Section winner Lara Higgins
The competition final was again played over 7 ends as 3 wood singles between Viv James and Lara Higgins
After the 7 ends of the final the shots score was level at 5-5; an extra end was played which Viv won by 1 shot.
